I am absolutely enamored by this track right now. Active Child is the brainchild of choir-boy-gone-indie musicmaker Pat Grossi, whose critically acclaimed 2010 debut Curtis Lane EP , from which this track was taken, gave the band enough buzz to book a nationwide tour in support of its debut LP, You Are All I See. The album is set to be released August 23 on Vagrant Records, and Grossi will be kicking off the tour in his home town of LA with a monthlong residency at The Echo. So all you Los Angelinos best come see at least one of these performances with me!

Class Actress, Live at The Echo 2/9/12

I was lucky enough to go see Class Actress tear the roof off The Echo last night, and, I must say, I was in love with Elizabeth Harper before this show, but even more so now. That girl was meant for the stage. She sauntered, she danced, she even stripped. It was amazing, and below are a whole bunch of pictures, documenting that I was there.
